Z-Itch is a ready to use pour-on solution that can aid the control of sweet Itch in horses, donkeys and ponies.
The Z-Itch should be applied at the rate of 4mg/kg bodyweight approx 1.0ml per 10kg to a maximum of 10-40ml per dose depending on maximum bodyweight.
The Z-Itch contains Permethrin is an authorised veterinary medicinal product. The measured dose of Z-Itch should be applied in equal proportions to the mane and rump, do not apply to the saddle area.
Begin treatment with Z-itch at the beginning of the sweet Itch season and repeat as necessary throughout.
Treatment once a week is sufficient for the majority of animals that have sweet itch. If the horses or donkeys are to be groomed, apply Z-itch after grooming, but do Not treat the saddle area.
The product, also, must not be applied forward of the ears. Take care to avoid eye contact, as if accidental splashing occurs the affected eye should be washed with copious amounts of clean water and veterinary medical attention should be sought.
