Equine America Copper Plus Powder provides a healthy boost of Copper and supporting minerals to maximise performance, encourage healthy bone growth and colour and shine in the coat.
Equine America Copper plus powder should be fed to horses showing signs of a copper deficiency, to horses in hard work, to brood mares, foals and young horses beginning training. Copper is present in all cells and aids in the absorption and use of iron, as well as regulating hair colour.
Horses are very tolerant of copper but over supplementation of copper can interfere with absorption of zinc and iron. A lack of copper, however, can present as anaemia, poor growth, lack of hair colour, weight loss and some bone disorders.
Feed a 500kg horse 20g Equine America Copper Plus per day.
