The Waterford 3 ring dutch gag is made from stainless steel.
The mouthpiece of the waterford is gentle as long as the horse and rider stay relaxed. If the horse pulls the waterford mouthpiece becomes more severe. A good bit for horses that like to take hold at speed.
The mouthpiece is coupled with the poll pressure that is related to the action of the 3 ring (Dutch) gag. Can be used with Pelham roundings and a back (curb) strap
The length of the sides varies with bit size. The 4.5" and 5" bits come with sides that measure approx 145mm from top to bottom, whilst the 5.5" and 6" bit has 180mm sides
