The Shires Double Jointed Full Cheek Brass Alloy Snaffles have a lozenge link that removes the nutcracker action within the mouth.
The Brass Alloy enriched mouthpiece of the full cheek snaffle will help with salivation and acceptance of the bit, whilst the full cheeks aid with steering. A good bit for schooling and for beginning young horses.
Cheeks pieces of the Full Cheek snaffle are made from stainless steel.
The Brass alloy is copper alloyed with a harder metal to produce warm, durable bits, which aid salivation and are more palatable than stainless steel.
