Neue Schule Turtle Top Loose Ring Bit

The Neue Schule Turtle Top Loose ring snaffle incorporates the inspired turtle top lozenge and the traditional 70mm snaffle loose rings to create a bit that can provide a soft, consistent contact by removing the discomfort in the mouth associated with other, more traditional, mouthpieces.

The double jointed lozenge enhances stability of the mouthpiece within the mouth and is the only bit that truly alligns itself to the surfaces of the tongue and the soft palate.  The Turtle Top™ link is a flattened dome that helps reduce palate pressure and prevents the arms of the mouthpiece from being pushed upwards by the horse’s tongue.

Additionally the arms of the mouthpiece are curved upwards in a slight arc, which is held in place by the turle top lozenge, that also helps keep the bit alligned with the internal structures of the mouth.

The Turtle top bits are briliant for horse's with overactive mouths and those that tongue poke as a result of pressure from the bit.  The result of this is a horse that is attentive to the rein aid and that gives a soft, consistent contact.
