Jodhpurs and Breeches
Jodhpurs and breeches for young riders come in a range of jazzy colours and patterns, but they are not just designed to be trendy fashion items to turn heads and earn envious glances at the livery stable or riding school.
Jodhpurs are full-length tight-fitting trousers constructed with the seams positioned to ensure they don't cause any friction while riding. They have padding at the knee and seat, for protection and to improve grip. They are usually made of a breathable stretch material, for comfort, and are worn with jodhpur boots and chaps or long riding boots.
Breeches are similarly made, but of shorter length, ending mid-calf, and they often have more padding on the seat and knee. This makes them popular with dressage riders and for show jumping, worn with long riding boots.
In competition jodhpurs and breeches have to be of a neutral colour, but for everyday young riders can have fun adding some colour to the equine equation from our selection.
